Employee qualifications?
We require our employees to have at least 2 years of childcare experience, undergo criminal & federal background check, an active CPR/First Aid Certification, & complete a reference check for 3 professional references.

How long can my child stay?
Our memberships include programs, you can receive up to 20 hours of care per week on a regular basis. This limit does not apply to Summer Camp programs and other recreational activities.
What if I need more than 20 hours of care?
On occasion, you may exceed the 20-hour weekly limit or transition to another membership time zone, but this should not become a regular practice. For example, if you require an earlier drop-off time on a Monday due to your schedule, and you are not an AM Achiever Member, special arrangements can be made with a $40 fee charged to the card on file if space is available. However, such arrangements cannot be consistently made for every Monday. Please be aware that our center closes daily between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. If you need care beyond 5 pm, you must pick up your child during the break and then return after 6 pm. It's important to note that this is a case-by-case scenario, and approval from the center owner is required.
What do I need to bring?
For children who are not potty trained, pampers/pull ups and wipes, a change of clothes, and breakfast or lunch if you do not plan for your child to eat the meal/snack provided by our team. Sippy Cup/Bottle for children ages 3 and under.
Does my 20-hour weekly limit roll over into the next week if I don't use them?
No, your weekly hours do not roll over. No child can be in the center for more than 20 hours a week. Your monthly membership is specifically designed for 20 hours a week.
How will I be notified of my weekly usage?
Every Tuesday, members will receive an email notification detailing the number of hours they have used.
Why is the membership limited to 20 hours a week?
Your membership, paid monthly, is structured for up to 20 hours a week. We encourage parents to utilize the entire 20 hours, as it not only establishes a beneficial routine for children but also assists working moms in creating a schedule that suits their needs. Our center follows a routine that keeps children active and engaged.
What is an activities pass?
Our activities pass establishes unique partnerships with small businesses in Hampton Roads, fostering positive mindsets and mental wellness for both moms and children. Moms can choose from a variety of activities for themselves or their children on specific days, with different memberships offering varying access levels.
What if life happens, and I need flexibility?
While we understand that unexpected changes occur, and life can be unpredictable, our program is designed to accommodate such situations. Please feel free to discuss any specific needs or changes with our center.
